Drawing Stories with Ed Emberley Opening Reception
March 15, 2019, 6:00-8:00pm
Free admission

This delightful new exhibit showcases original artwork by Caldecott award-winning artist and illustrator Ed Emberley. Having produced over 100 books throughout his “storied” career, Emberley believes that everyone can learn to draw, and his books have been inspiring the young and the “young-at-art” to do just that since the early 1960’s. Some of Emberley’s most popular titles include Bye-Bye, Big Bad Bullybug!, Go Away, Big Green Monster, Great Thumbprint Drawing Book, and Drummer Hoff. Through art and artifacts, as well as engaging interactive projects and experiences, visitors will step into Emberley’s incredible world of imagination and wonder.

This exhibition will appeal to both kids and the “kid-in-you”, so all ages are encouraged to join us for the opening, brief remarks, refreshments, prizes and other artful fun.
