Water-Based Oil Painting
In this class you will learn the basics of painting with water-based oils. Each night you will paint a new simple scene and will be individually instructed on how you could enhance your image.

Art & Wine
Sip wine, chat with friends, and create art. Each night you will complete an original piece of work that you can take home. Price is for one evening of class and two glasses of wine.

Letterpress Valentines
Join the owners of Pretty Good Co. to make your very own letterpress Valentine’s Day cards. You will be able to pick out your paper, choose from a selection of designs, and print it yourself on a vintage printing press. Each person will make a pack of 7-10 cards.

Artistic Journaling
Add artistic style to your journals, stories, memoirs, and poetry using a variety of paints and art mediums.

Poetry, Prose & Pinot
Write poetry while sipping on wine. Your instructor will work with you to create a perfect sonnet, haiku or ode. Final projects will be hand-typed onto beautiful stationary.

Wheel Throwing
Spend a couple hours a week playing with clay. Our instructors will teach you the basics and provide tips on how to advance your craft. Ten pottery wheels are available or your may want to focus on slab work.

Batik
Batik is a method of dyeing a fabric by which the parts of the fabric not intended to be dyed are covered with removable wax. This method of artistic hand-dyeing is fun and an easy way to bring color into your life.

Stained Glass & Stained Glass Bike Wheels
Learn techniques including design, glass cutting, soldering, and framing for making a copper-foiled or leaded stained glass panel. After six weeks you will have a beautiful completed stained glass piece. Participants of the bike wheel class are encouraged to bring their own bike wheel.

Weekend Silversmith
Discover the possibilities of precious metal clay. You will learn the basics of PMC and create your very own pendants or earrings. Remember to bring along a lunch and an idea or two of something you’d like to create.

Book Binding
Learn several binding styles and basic skills, plus important fundamentals of materials, equipment, and techniques. Your finished books will make perfect gifts or journals for self-reflection.

“Blooming Idiots” with Doug Reynolds
Spend an afternoon with Doug putting silly clay faces on premade bud vases. Each person will take home their very own “Blooming Idiot”. Doug will also demonstrate throwing on the pottery wheel and participants can try as well.

Glass Bead Class
Learn to use heat, gravity, and simple tools to shape vibrant molten glass. Bring a lunch and be prepared to be amazed by what you have created. This is for beginning and intermediate students.
